Class for Seniors
50 and over
Join us in the MAC at 10:45
a.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays for an exercise workout designed
just for seniors! Instructor is Jeanette Domol, who has been
teaching aerobics for 30 years and specifically senior workouts
for the last 5 years.
Cost is $2.50 per class

Learning and Serving Together is
an
action packed mid-week program for
children in
first through 4th grade
and...

Club
56, the mid-week
program for
"tweens" (grades 5 and 6).
We recognize that as students transition between elementary and middle school, they face unique issues.
We have developed a program that will help prepare them for some of
these challenges. We'll be focusing on building character and a
strong sense of self, as well as how to confidently interact and
handle the challenges of this age group, using Biblically based
curriculum and Christian values.
Both groups begin Wednesday,
September 15, 2010 from 4:45 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Registration
forms are available in the church office.
Fee is $35
per child; $80 family maximum.
Each
session is for 10 weeks and includes dinner!

3rd Thursday Card Shop
Now Open!
Join us on the third Thursdays
(9/16, 10/21, 11/18 & 12/16) for a creative way to make cards!
Each session we'll make 8 beautiful cards, 2 each of 4 different
designs. Fee is $15 and up. For reservations and information

Join us in the MAC for our
annual All-Church Picnic after the second worship service on
Sunday, September 19th. Lunch will be served at 12:15 p.m.
Please sign up on the Opportunities Board at church to bring
a salad, side dish or dessert that serves 12. Hot dogs,
hamburgers, veggie burgers, beverages and table service will be
provided.
Fun, fellowship and PONY
RIDES for the kids!

Orchard men are invited to join
with others at the AmericInn in Oscoda, MI for a weekend of
fellowship, relaxation, and recreation from Friday night,
September 24, through Sunday morning, September 26. This
year's theme is "An Uncommon Event," based on the book by Tony
Dungy. Rev. Jim Braid will lead the discussions.
Cost is $90 for 2 nights
includes lodging,
continental breakfasts and Saturday lunch.

Financial Peace University
We are once again offering the popular Financial
Peace University program developed by personal money
management expert, Dave Ramsey. These two-hour classes provide
tools that use biblically-based accountability and equip
you with a realistic means to manage your financial resources.

Keeping the American Dream from Becoming a Nightmare
We are offering this 13-week program in TWO SESSIONS on Sundays from
6-8
p.m.
(childcare available upon request). The FIRST SESSION will
begin October 3 and run for six week (through November 14 -
no class held on 10/31). The SECOND SESSION (second half of
the course) will begin on January 9 and run for seven weeks
(through February 13).
The cost for all materials
(includes both sessions)
is $95 per “family unit”
(just a
little over $7 per week). Registration is going on
now—payment is required with registration .

The Orchard NEXT program
has people experienced in many fields who are willing to
mentor anyone interested in getting assistance as
they evaluate their future career path. NEXT Mentor

insecure, it is important to have a place to feel
connected with others, where you can share experiences
and know that someone else really understands.
Our NEXT resource center
(located in Room 202) has a supply of helpful books and
articles. All are welcome to borrow any of these
resources for personal use.
The NEXT program at
Orchard also holds occasional
informational meetings that are led by professionals and
leaders in their field, to assist in helping you in
