Orchard Church has a strong commitment to the spiritual growth of its faith community. We provide a variety of small group experiences to meet the varying needs and interests of the people of Orchard. Whether you want an information-based experience or a fellowship-based experience, we have a group for you, or will work with you to start one. Our small groups meet Sunday mornings and at various times throughout the week. There are groups for youth, couples, women or men only, seniors and mixes of adults in a variety of life situations.
MID-WEEK OPPORTUNITIES * - SPIRITUAL GROWTHEve’s Girls - A women’s book discussion and spiritual growth group, mixed with lots of fellowship. Typically meets the 1st & 3rd Mondays at 7:30 pm, ParlorTuesday Mornings with Pastor Amy Join Pastor Amy, our Lead Pastor, on Tuesday mornings for a weekly Bible study Tuesdays at 9:30 am, Parlor (begins October 11) Women’s Bible Study - All women are invited to join our enriching, vibrant Bible Study discussion group. Wednesdays at 9:15 am, Parlor (begins September 14)Wednesday Nights Together (WNT) - This mid-week program will offer at least two classes taught by our pastors. That, along with community dinner at 5:30, resumes on February 1st.Sisters 4 Christ (S4C) A Women’s Devotion Opportunity Women looking for an opportunity to grab a cup of coffee and connect with others through prayer and devotion will love the opportunity to meet twice a month with their Orchard sisters. This group, led by Sheri Hicks and Suzanne Kosiba, will be meeting on Saturday mornings at 7:00 am., Panera on Grand River in FarmingtonDuring Lent, we travel together on the Lenten journey in a church-wide emphasis that runs from Ash Wednesday to Easter. Various events are planned, often including a book study that coordinates with the sermons during the weeks of Lent. Check publications and calendar for dates and times and details for the upcoming Lenten season.Spiritual Gifts - Spiritual gifts are the special abilities God gives each of us for meaningful and effective service. This is an easy way to identify the gifts that God has given us, discover our style of service, and find the places where we can make a difference in God’s world. This three-week course is offered periodically and will help you identify the gifts that God has given you and to discover where best to use them in meaningful and effective service.
