Lisa Gray-Lion Prayer is meant to be a vital, sustaining connection with God, but, too often our prayers are stifled by formality that doesn’t suit us. This relaxed, fun, interactive presentation includes opportunities to 'test drive' prayer in ways that embrace 'how you're wired.’February 15: SAFE (Suicide Awareness for Everyone) We will be welcoming in a guest speaker from Farmington SAFE (Suicide Awareness for Everyone). Farmington SAFE is an organization that provides a platform for conversation and resources around suicide and looksto remove the stigma and bring the topics of depression and suicide out into the open.February 22: Taking the Scary Out of Evangelism—Rev. Jeff Nelson Jeff, who currently serves as the senior pastor of Royal Oak FUMC, and formerly served as the senior pastor at Redford Aldersgate UMC, has a gift for meeting people—all people—where they are and making them his newest best friend. He sees people for who they are and recognizes the goodness and Godness in them. For Jeff, sharing faith is as natural and as necessary as breathing—nothing to be scared of!
